Would you like to come to my party?

This is the question I asked some of my neighbors recently. Asking someone to come to your party can always be a little stressful. Or maybe it’s just the pressure that we put on ourselves. Will I have enough food? Will enough fun be had? Will anyone even show up? Then I remembered, wait…this is a DISNEY party so duh, it automatically was gonna be awesome. I was given a pretty cool American Tourister Sophia The First suitcase filled with Disney goodies to host a Disney Kids playdate so I was set. I reached out to some of my neighbor friends who have small children and asked if they would like to be a part of it and we were ready to PAR-TAY!

My instinct was to go into stress mode though. I have to buy a bunch of supplies, snacks, drinks…BLAAAAAH!!!!! Nope, I thought, this is a party aka playdate for kids between the ages of 2-5. What do they want to do? PLAY! And I was right. So I threw stress and pressure AND cost out the window and focused on fun and easy!

My wonderful neighbor Lauren offered to host the soiree at her house so I brought some snacks and drinks and we were good to go. We made some Pop Secret popcorn, ate some cookies and drank some juice boxes. Well, the kids drank juice boxes and us mommas may have had our own grown up juice box. (Thanks, Lorrie. hee hee). Everyone walked away with some HP photo paper, Finding Dory Pillow Pet, Disney gifts, and little Elyse won the grand prize of the American Tourister Sophia The First suitcase.  How happy is she?!

I brought my 11yo daughter Lily with me to help organize games and crafts for the kids and she was great. But truthfully, once Lily and her little sister Luna got around the other kids…all they wanted to do is play, play, play! Lauren and her super cute son Connor are big Disney fans so their house is practically like going to Walt Disney World so the kids were in their own little world of Disney fun. In fact, Lauren’s family leaves for a Disney cruise next week! The kids were so cute and played hard and we mommas? Well, we got to spend some quality time with each other. It was so easy!

If I had another #DisneyKids party, would you guys come?

XO Cindy

Disclosure: Disney provided me with an American Tourister suitcase full of Disney goodies, HP photo paper, and other awesomeness. EVERY item that I received was given away to my guests at this #DisneyKids party and all thoughts shared here are my own!
